  for me, it was knowing that this wasn't the only "truth" yet feeling responsible to carry thr "party" line and "encourage" others to remain steadfast in the "truth".

  The people who answered my post provided me with the expeineced advice I needed and I thank you all. I chose to give it a shot for more or less the matter of my own conscience and my love for her. My mother and I disputed the WTS's teachings and it was like a cock fight with 2" gaffs tied to the legs and the roosters pumped with cocaine. This is what I wrote:

  I suppose you're wondering how I got your E-mail address. I intercepted it through a "thread" that Tammybug wrote.

  I am just checking in to see if all is well and how you are handeling the loss of Mom. I, for one, think of her every day and I'll tell one reason why. Before I got on the plane back to Florida I took clippings of her vines and Chestnut Tree and put in plastic bags with RooTone. I also brought back all the seeds from her garden flowers I could find.

  When I arrived home, I planted the seeds and stuck in the clippings in a special vase. Each day I water the vase and think of Mom. Not to my surprise the plants are abounding, blooming and beautiful. The Trumpet Vine is attrackting Hummingbirds. I don't know what some of the flowers are, but I will enjoy them just the same.

  Give my regards to the gang and please tell them I send my love.

  Just wondering, has anyone here been cut with the WTS's axe over smoking? I was. Also I think about "over-eating" as well as "over-drinking". That's a No No, including smoking too, as far as the last "New Light" I read. All my dub sisters could pass as livestock. I assume they buy their clothes at a tent or awning store and buy their shoes at a blacksmith shop. What gives here?

  Worried about work :S

  to give everyone a brief history.... i started a 4 to 6 month contract to hire position in early feb. the hope is that i will eventually become a permanent employee.

  a few weeks ago i had a little chat with my supervisor asking him how things were looking for me to become a perm employee... he responded that there was currently a hireing freeze that was just put into place and i needed wait.

  he added an ominous comment that i could look for perm work elsewhere if i wanted... but added that i was doing a great job.. today i came into work to find two new *perm* employees setting up in their work areas .

  Back in 1988 I left my private engineering company and made a deal to run production operations at a packaging company in San Bernadino, Ca.. The first question I asked my employees was "How can I help you do your job?" The answer was 80% "They are hiring people with no experience and paying them more money than me and I have to train them." I instructed the people I was over, as long as I was over this department this would never happen as long as I was here. Guess what, the Vice-President of the company hired an inexperienced pimple faced kid for a buck more on the hour than the people I was over. It happened on a Friday, I was back at my home in North Carolina on Monday. I resigned. Many supervisors continue on and support Bull-Hockey policies that are implimented by Cluster-**ck managers and owners. You gotta cut through it if you can. I for one could not.

  i just didn't get the quality of sleep last night i should have (nor the hours either) and today i am just dying.. .

  driving to work this morning i had to be so careful to stay awake, so as not to have an accident.. .

  and doing that for what took today an hour and 45 minutes to get here was toooooo long.. .

  What I have found is that throwing up is a good remedy for your condition. Try sticking your finger down your throat.

  If that dosen't work then stick your finger up your ass.

  Then stick your finger down your throat. It's 99% effective.

  just dropping in for a short visit.

  the last couple of weeks i have run into quite a few witnesses at wal-mart where i work.

  most of them talk to me, in fact one asked for my help yesterday in picking out some clothes, she had just had a masectomy and needed some new blouses.. it was right after that i ran (almost litereally) into another one this one i usually just see from a distance so didn't know if she saw me or not before this but here we were standing face to face.

  Hi Sadie,

  My girlfriend also works at a Wal-Mart Super Center in the shoe department. You must be in "softlines". If the book she's writing, "Candles of Light", takes off I think she will take a big dump in "Action Alley" and get the hell out of there.

  I think "venting" is good and we have been treated the same way. Remember, Gimmy, Gimmy got his neck broke!

  I am agnostic. My views are my views and I'm happy with them.

  After "preaching" door to door for over 20 years and having Bible studies with so many people, teaching them the "Within this generation" crap, I learned my lesson. I'll believe what I want and will never force those beliefs on another.

  No, I do not preach! I do teach however.
